After weeks of speculation, Kevin Durant is heading to the Houston Rockets following an exchange on Sunday. But, in an unusual accident, the forward star discovered the successful trade during the Fanatics Fest stage.

Durant was part of a starry formation at the Festival, which took place in New York City this weekend. But the speech turned into a last news accident, while the news of the trade fell while talking as part of a panel of “Global Game Changers” during the event.

Fan videos show that the members of the public shout to Durant that they have been exchanged with Houston. Durant and moderator Taylor Rooks seemed confused for a moment, with Durant who asked the crowd to repeat what they said, before finally grasping what had happened.

Rooks then asked Durant how he felt to head to Houston, a feeling that led to a mixture of whistles and confusion on the part of the crowd.

“We will see the man, we will see,” replied Durant, with a smile.

Rooks did his best to go on with the interview, asking Durant his game song. Durant’s answer? “Piove in Houston” by Drake.

After a Phoenix Suns SuperTeam did not work as he hoped, Durant will move to his fifth team in his historic career (six, if he includes Seattle Supersonics). The 36-year-old striker will now head to Houston, hoping to add a veteran all-star presence to a team anchored by emerging players such as Amen Thompson and Alperere şengün.
