Knicks Mailbag: who will bring Mike Brown to fill in his staff?

Is another edition of Knicks‘Mailbag with SNY NBA Insider Ian Begley ready to answer your questions that surround the Knicks. Let’s start.
What are the backup guard plans when Brunson is? Will he be by committee with McBride, Hart and Clarkson who manage the ball? Do you think Kolek is ready for a consistent role outside the bench or will the pine ride again this year? – @Ctors04
Based on the moves they have done so far, it seems Tyler Kolek He will be outside the rotation of the Knicks to start the season.
New York already has a rotation of nine men: Jalen Brunson, Bridges Mikal, Og anunoby, City of Karl-Antony, Mitchell Robinson, Josh Hart, Jordan Clarkson, Guerschon Yabusele, Miles McBride.
Unless coach Mike Brown He wants to play 10 every evening, at the moment there does not seem to be a rotation point for Kolek.
In addition, the Knicks have enough money for a minimum veteran contract and a beginner contract before reaching the second apron. They have been in contact with players who can play a backup role in the free agency. So if they add a backup guard with that last point of the roster, it could potentially obstruct a path to Kolek.
Who could sign the Knicks with the minimum agreement of that veteran? They continued to touch the base with Ben Simmons During the free agency period. I am sure they touched the base with other veterinarians too. Chris Paul AND Russell Westbrook They are among the main guards still on the market. The teams are wondering if Washington will agree with a buyout with the veteran guard Marcus Smart. For what is worth, the Knicks do not seem to focus exclusively on the ball management guards with the last point. New York still sees Landry Shamet As a possibility and Shamet remains open on the return to New York.
What is Brown’s plan to make Brunson do less without sacrificing offensive efficiency? – @shemirock
A big question. Brown did not deepen the details during his introductory press conference this week. But we know that Brown has seen James Borrego as a target for the best assistant point of his staff. Borrego is not available (he will remain in New Orleans), but Brown’s interest in Borrego suggests that he is open to an offense that is well swept and has a high level of movement of the ball and player.
If the Knicks are thus in attack, it is logical to think that Brunson will have the ball in insulation a little less often. It is worth noting that Hart, Bridges and others managed the ball sometimes last season when Brunson was on the floor. Maybe you see Brunson out of the ball more regularly in Brown. Or perhaps the movement of the ball/player organically leads to a less work load for Brunton. In any case, it is an interesting topic to soon monitor Brown’s mandate.
Presumably, Mike Brown has his own "Boys". Assistants with whom he trained when he was an assistant and his assistants when he was an HC. I know that 2 of its sacs are now HCS but, whether it is the main assistant or other, is it not very common to have your boys in your staff? – @Capetainpearlnyk
It is common to have your “guys” in your technical staff. Brown will make at least one significant addition to his staff when he adds an associated coach. I still expect that there will be last year’s holdovers to Brown’s staff (Rick Brunson, Mark Bryant, Mourice cheeks AND Darren Erman). But Brown was said during the interview process that he would have had full autonomy to take on his staff. Of course, it is naive to think that it would include all four coaches if he had a white list to work with.
But if the coaches mentioned above are in his staff, it will be because in the end he chose to keep them.
