Enzo Maresca sends clear message to Arsenal transfer target Noni Madueke

Speaking at his post match press conference following Chelsea’s victory in the FIFA Club World Cup quarter-final, Enzo Maresca has sent a clear message to Noni Madueke.

Maresca stated: “Noni has been very important for us this season. Today, again, he has been important. But my message to the players and the club is that I only want players that are happy to be with us.

“The [players] who are not happy are free to go. It’s not Noni’s fault for all the players we have. But again, Noni has been very good during this season and very good tonight.”

Madueke has reportedly agreed personal terms with Arsenal and is keen on making the move across London.

Fabio Vieira could be used as part of Viktor Gyokeres Arsenal transfer

According to reports in Portugal, Arsenal midfielder Fabio Vieira could be used as part of a deal to bring striker Viktor Gyokeres to the Emirates Stadium.

Vieira spent the season on loan at Sporting Lisbon’s rivals Porto and could be used as a way to bring down the fee demanded for the Swedish striker.

The 25-year-old has struggled to make an impact in North London since arriving for £34m in the summer of 2022 and a move back to his home nation could be an attractive option.
