The Jonathan Kuminga saga dominated the warriors and the NBA speech throughout the low season.
But how do Golden State players actually feel for the situation? The third year guard Brandin Podiemski revealed how he and his teammates Warriors see Kuminga’s noise in a conversation with 95.7 “Willard and Dibs” of the game on Wednesday.
“Obviously, everyone in our team know that it is the task of the media to try in Nitpick and find things to write about and speak and separate teammates so that they have a story to write,” said Podziemski to Mark Willard and Dan Dilesy. “For example, we all know that it is so it works; especially the guys who have been there from 10 to 15 years, they know how it works.
“Everyone in the changing rooms know no matter how that situation has resolved, our point of view of JK does not change as a person [and] as a player. Obviously, we all want to be in Golden State; This is the point. But nothing changes. “
With anyone’s surprise, Podziemski has the shoulders of his teammate.
It is not a secret that Golden State, the lone franchise that has yet to make an out of season move, probably has transactions pending due to the Kuminga situation. But it is also known that Kuminga and warriors are in a impasse in contractual negotiations.
In the end, the games will be played and Podiemski will be forced to tie the shoes regardless of the Kuminga status. The guard is simply focused on what it can control.
“The media will describe it in one way to try to make people think differently,” Podziemski said to Willard and Dibley. “But my perspective does not change. I know that everything I can control is being the best version of Brandin Podiemski that I can go to my third year and everything else will fall as it could.”
Podziemski said he and his teammates from Warriors see Kuminga for the NBA 2025-26 season. However, it is not sure how the Golden front office you are in agreement with that feeling, if it does it at all.
