Luka Doncic fined $50,000 for making a money gesture after not getting the call he wanted

Lately we’ve had the most Luka Doncic barking at the referees’ season, even for one of the Association’s infamous complainers. Even the Lakers’ home broadcast has criticized him lately.

All those words weren’t what earned Doncic a $50,000 fine announced Tuesday by the NBA, but it was “making an inappropriate and unprofessional gesture toward a game official.” Specifically, making a “money” gesture with his hands after missing a charging call on Mohamed Diawara in Sunday’s win over the Knicks.
