Luka Doncic would not have left a little foul to keep him and Slovenia outside the last 16 of Eurobasket.

A game that started with Doncic in difficulty saw him end with 26 points, seven rebounds and four assists to conduct Slovenia to a victory of 87-79 against Iceland.

It is likely that that group is reached by Nikola Vucevic and Montenegro, provided that Britain can beat without victories in its last game. The biggest game could arrive on Wednesday when Estonia tackles the center of Celtics Neemias Queta and Portugal: the winner advances at the 16 round, the loser returns home.

In other actions on Tuesday, Knicks’s Guerschon Yabusele had a monstrous game, scoring 33 with six rebounds and a couple of blocks in the French victory over Poland.

In less good news for France, a team already without Victor Wembanyama or Rudy Gobert for this tournament, the great Wizards Man Alex Sarr is out for the rest of Eurobasket with a calf injury.

Through four games of the Eurobasket group stage, the first five markers are:

1) Luka Doncic, Slovenia, 31.3
2) Lauri Markkanen, Finland, 29
3) Giannis Antetokounmpo, Greece, 29
4) Jordan Lloyd, Poland, 25.8
5) Dennis Schroder, Germany, 22.3
