Mike Dunleavy Shares Free priority of the NBA Free Agency of Warriors – NBC Sports Bay Area and California

The first part of the Warriors’ 2025 offseason came and went with the draft of the NBA in the rear, and now the real fun begins.
While the future of Jonathan Kuminga will be a domino effect for the rest of the free Golden State agency, which will begin on Monday morning, the general manager of the Warriors Mike Dunleavy spoke with Tim Kawakami in “The TK Show” on what their maximum priority is for the rest of the offenseon regardless of how Kuminga’s situation takes place.
“Yes, I think the biggest thing for us is to know the guys who will be here, how do we complete them?” Dunleavy said. “How we complete ourselves around Steph [Curry]Jimmy [Butler] and draymond [Green]? [Brandin Podziemski]Moses [Moody]and going to the bottom of the list. What should we add to this?
“I think there are some specific skills sets that we can use on both sides of the ball, also understanding which types of players work for us. What types of players can play for Steve [Kerr]In the system with Steph and Dray and what they have done for many years here. It is complicated. You have a little needle thread with it, but there are players out there that we can get that they make us better “.
Since their NBA season of 2024-25 ended with curry put aside due to an injury, the Warriors remain engaged in their search for a season to win everything with their guard of superstar-and its partners in the crime.
So what kind of skill set is Dunleavy in specific search?
“The Good Thing is there’s a Lot of Players Available, Where’s That’s in the Free-Agent Market or We Can Make Trades and Put Offers Out On Guys. So We’ll Target Some Players That We Think Cane Fit Well. You Got to Have That Balance of Playing With These Guys Offensive by Making Shots and Being Able to pass, Handling The Ball and Reading the game.
“So we are trying to look at guys who can improve this team. I think we have done an excellent job in the free agency, whether it is minimal or exceptions. I have a good feeling for our group and what we can do to improve. So we will see what we can do.”
In Kuminga a qualified offer will be offered by the expiry of Sunday at 14:00, giving Golden State the possibility of combining any contract that another team accepts with him as a limited free agent.
The teams can officially start negotiating with the players on Monday at 15:00 pt.
