Mitchell Robinson, Miles McBride Shine for New Look Knicks in Presetson Open
The Knicks have opened the pre-hexon with a 99-84 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers on Thursday afternoon as part of the Abu Dhabi games of the NBA.
These exhibition of the exhibition does not mean much, but for the Knicks, it presents the opportunity to make a first positive impression on the new coach Mike Brown.

He knocked down his first three shots for eight rapid points.
McBride continued to drive the team with 12 points in five of seven shots (2 out of 4 by three) while he also started in five rebounds, making a couple of assists and collecting the three best stolen in 21 minutes of action.
His evaluation plus 11 came third in the team, only behind Ariel Hukporti AND Landry Shamet.
“It’s the Presetson, so we’re just trying to improve one percent every day,” said McBride. “I just wanted to come today and make my presence feel out there – only trying to have an impact on victory in every possible way.”
It’s just a game of Preseason, but it was certainly a strong start for two of the key pieces of New York.
