NBA Draft 2025: Brooklyn Nets Break Record using all 5 their choices in the first round

Brooklyn’s networks had full control of the draft of the NBA on Wednesday evening.
But instead of hitting a sort of deal with their ridiculous quantity of shooting capital, they opted to establish a new record.
Announcement
The Draft on Wednesday evening, beating a record for the greatest number of choices used by a team in a single round of the draft. The Minnesota Timberwolves held the previous sign with the four who used in the 2009 NBA draft.
Here is a look at how the nets used all five their choices:
No. 8: Egor Demin, Byu
No. 19: Nolan Traoré, Saint Quentin
N. 22: Drake Powell, North Carolina
No. 26: Ben Saraf, Ratiopharm Ulm
No. 27: Danny Wolf, Michigan
Networks also hold the rights on the overall choice n. 36

Their greatest choice, Denim, scored an average of 10.6 points and 5.5 assists per game last season at Byu. The 6 feet guard-9 outside Russia seemed willing to do everything you need to help the nets immediately.
“I was playing a leading guard throughout my life, so I see myself as a guard,” said Denim. “But I am also willing to do everything you need to bring success to the team and have an impact on the game in a positive way. If Coach wants me to be a center, I will be a center. I have no problems with this. I only know that I am a playmaker.”
The draft networks was full of energy when it was shown on Espn on Wednesday evening, so they are clearly engaged in this reconstruction strategy. The team went only 26-56 last season and lost the playoffs for a second consecutive campaign. Jordi Fernández has just finished his first season as head coach of the team, even if it is the fourth man who did the work in the last three seasons.
It will take more than a simple motivated demin and a new young core to fix the nets. And, with the way they did it, this is clearly a long -term game. But it’s a good starting point.
