NBA finals: Tyrese Haliburton speaks after Achille’s injury in Game 7, apologizes to the fans of Pacers

Indiana’s star Pacers Tyrese Haliburton shared a long message on social media on Monday evening, one day removed by his devastating Achille injury in the game 7 of the NBA finals.
Haliburton went down in the first quarter of the loss of the Pacer against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday evening after his right leg has sold. He hammered on the ground and was incredibly emotional almost immediately after hitting the floor, clearly knowing what had happened.
The team quickly confirmed the injury and underwent surgery on Monday. While the Pacers did not provide a time sequence for his return, all his 2025-26 season is potentially at risk.
“Friend. I don’t know how to explain it if not the shock,” Haliburton wrote on social media while sharing a photo of him in a hospital bed, lifting a sign with his hands. “Words cannot express the pain of this disappointment. The frustration is unfathomable. I have worked throughout my life to get to this moment and that’s how it ends?
“Now that I have undergone surgery, I would like to be able to count the number of times in which people will tell me that” I will come back stronger “. That cliche lol, this s *** sucks.
Haliburton wounded the right veal for the first time in game 5 of the finals, but continued to play during the injury. He was available for Game 6 without restrictions, and led the team to a victory to force the game 7 on Sunday. Even with his wounded leg probably playing a part in his Achille injury, Haliburton said he had no regrets.
“Honestly, at this moment, Achille torn and everything else, I don’t regret it,” he wrote. “I would do it again, and again later, to fight for this city and my brothers. For the possibility of doing something special.”

Haliburton marked on average 18.6 points and 9.2 assists throughout the regular season. He scored 14 points and 5.9 assists by game in the final, and he was playing some of the best basketballs of his career in the post -station. He hit multiple game strokes or games of games who kept the pacer in each round.
The pars played in their first NBA finals since 2000 and the franchise was looking for his first championship from the ABA-NBA merger. Although his presence on the field would not have guaranteed Pacers a victory in any way, his absence was undoubtedly felt along the stretch on Sunday evening.

With their incredible race that he finished as he did, Haliburton apologized to the fans of Pacers. He also promised to return, every time he is.
“Indy, I’m sorry. If a fan base does not deserve it, you are all,” he wrote. “But together we will fight like hell to return to this point, and overcome this obstacle. I do not doubt for a second that you have all your shoulders, and I hope you guys know that I have your own … my journey to get where they were not happened today, I pushed myself every day to be great. And continue to do that.
“The most important part of all this is that I am grateful. I am grateful for every single experience that brought me here. I am grateful for all love from the world of the circle. I don’t have to go through this, I can go through this. I am grateful to the road that awaits us.
