Newcastle United told to make shock movement for ex-Arsenal goals such as Alexander Isak replacement
Newcastle United should make a late move for previous Arsenal target Dusan Vlahovic.
It is the view of European football expert Andy Brassell, who told Talksport that Toon could make much worse than trying to sign the Juventus star.

Arsenal has been long -term admirers of the Serbian international but missed his signature in January 2022 when he joined Juventus from Fiorentina.
The striker’s business with the old lady goes out next summer, and the Italian giants could look for money.
Newcastle is in desperate need of at least one striker this summer with Alexander Isak on strike and Callum Wilson has joined West Ham.
It leaves, Osula as the club’s only first team comes forward, although he did not start Toon’s 0-0 draw with Aston Villa on the opening day.
Instead, the Anthony Gordon led the line, while Eddie Howe has talked about the need for a striker.
And Brassell believes that Vlahovic moves to St James Park would make sense.
When he talked about Trans European Express and when asked about Vlahovic’s time at Juventus as a failure, he said: “I agree, especially when you look at his age. I would say he is a qualified failure because he has had his moments.
“Obviously he is far too expensive, they pay him 12 million a year, which he will not get anywhere else outside Saudi.
“I would say that there are some Premier League clubs, maybe a certain that has attack problems right now in northeastern England (Newcastle), which I think it is worth taking a little for him.
“He has only one year left on his contract. Juventus has to sell him now, they will not charge much money for him.”

What is the attack situation in Newcastle?
Isaac has been the subject of a bid of £ 110 million from Liverpool which was immediately rejected by Toon.
The reds will not yet come back with another offer and do not intend not to be given encouragement that Magpies would accept, Talksport understands.
Isak did not matter in Newcastle’s 0-0-O-set against Aston Villa and has told the club that he will never play for them again.
He is currently training on his own and is desperate to join Liverpool.
The magpies are looking for two forwards in the rest of the transfer window, which allows Isaac to leave.
But they are frustrated by Brentford in their attempts to sign Yoane Wissa.

Bin has quoted Newcastle a price of £ 60 million until Brentford signs a replacement.
Dango Ouattara has arrived from Bournemouth in a deal worth £ 42.5 million, but he is seen as Bryan Mbeumo’s replacement.
Calls between Newcastle and Brentford will resume over Wiss this week.
Talksport understands that Nicolas Jackson is also on Newcastle’s radar, but with time that ends it turns out to be increasingly difficult for Magpies to sign a striker.
They are not yet linked to Vlahovic, but when his contract runs down, and Toon in need of one forward, it may be one to look at.
