The doctor of regenerative medicine Jesse Morse stressed in the post X posts that the deformation of the high degree calf suffered in the game 5 was a precursor of Achille’s injury.
“Hailburton was playing with fire playing 6 and 7 games after diagnosing a high -grade veal voltage, an injury that is notoriously slow to heal,” Morse wrote. “There was a significantly increased risk of a possible tear of Achilles due to the fact that it already had the tension of the high degree calf, regardless of what the” data “show.
“We saw him with Kobe Bryant. We saw him with Aaron Rodgers. Probably more. A deformation of the calf led to a tear of Achilles.”

Bryant broke his left Achille on April 12, 2013, after playing every minute of eight consecutive quarters while the Lakers pursued a playoff point with two remaining games in the regular season. Rodgers snatched his left Achilles in his first game as New York Jets quarterback on 11 September 2023, shortly after experiencing the hold in his calf. He lost the whole season but returned in 2024 at the age of 41.
The Achille tendon is a fibrous cord who directs the movement from the leg to the foot, connecting the muscles from the calf to the heel bone. A sudden explosive movement such as running or leap can cause tenders or breaking of the tendon.
The origin of the term Achille derives from the hero of that name in Greek mythology. His mother tried to make him immortal by immersing him in a river that contained magical powers. He kept him for the heel, however, leaving him vulnerable.
