Paul Scholes now picks his Premier League title favourites between Arsenal and Man City

The Premier League title race is really starting to heat up with Manchester City closing to within four points of Arsenal this weekend.
Mikel Arteta’s side suffered a late blow at Sunderland as Brian Brobbey denied the team all three points in the 94th minute.
Meanwhile, Manchester City beat Liverpool 3-0 to close the gap on the Gunners to four points ahead of the international break.
Pep Guardiola’s side haven’t been at their best this campaign, but after beating the Reds 3-0, Paul Scholes discussed their title chances.

Paul Scholes chooses between Arsenal and Man City
Scholes believes Manchester City are the new favorites to win the Premier League title race after the weekend’s action.
The former Manchester United midfielder admits he hasn’t been too impressed with Guardiola’s side this season, but their win over Liverpool has changed his mind.
When asked to choose between Arsenal and City, Scholes told The Good, The Bad & The Football: “But I haven’t been that impressed with City in all honesty.
“It’s been a different way for him to do it, hasn’t it? But yesterday I thought for the first time, I think they must be slight favorites ahead of Arsenal.”
Elsewhere, Wayne Rooney believes Arsenal will be nervous about City chasing them, having been in this position.
After the international break, it’s the north London derby, and Arteta will be looking to produce an emphatic response against Spurs.
Arsenal’s next five Premier League games compared to Man City
As the Gunners welcome Tottenham to the Emirates Stadium, City face a tough trip to Newcastle United in their next match.
Arsenal beat Newcastle in dramatic circumstances, so the pressure is on them to match the Gunners’ result at St James’ Park.
| Arsenal | Man City |
| Tottenham (M) | Newcastle (A) |
| Chelsea (A) | Leeds United (H) |
| Brentford (M) | Fulham (A) |
| Aston Villa (A) | Sunderland (H) |
| Wolves (M) | Crystal Palace (A) |
The North Londoners then face Chelsea away, Brentford at home, Aston Villa away and Wolves at home, in a series of mixed matches.
The good news for Arsenal is that Viktor Gyokeres, Noni Madueke, Martin Odegaard, Gabriel Martinelli and Kai Havertz are all in contention to return from injury after the break.
