Premier League 2025-26: Which teams have had most injuries this season?

Tottenham are far from alone in suffering from injuries, particularly to key players, this season.

Newcastle have lost the most days of any club to injury, and Eddie Howe’s side have been severely tested as they continue to battle on four fronts.

As a result, the Magpies’ away form in particular has been badly affected, with Howe’s side winning just twice on the road in the league this season.

Arsenal managers were also among the biggest casualties in terms of number of days lost to injury and total number of injuries.

However, their squad depth has managed to mitigate much of the impact – with the Gunners sitting top of the domestic table and the Champions League stage.

Of the teams at the bottom of the Premier League, Nottingham Forest and Leeds United have been hit the hardest.

Collectively, England’s top flight has lost 2,157 fewer days to injury than at the same stage last season – although the severity of common injuries appears to increase when looking at data over an entire season.

According to Premier Injuries, hamstring injury cases decreased by 23% in 2024-25, but 60% of these injuries required a minimum of 30 days to recover – the highest ratio since such data began being recorded in 2010.
