Image source, Getty ImagesI think Mikel Arteta is brilliant, I praised him a lot, but I think he panicked after Manchester United went 2-1 up.
To make all four changes at once – Ben White, Eberechi Eze, Mikel Merino and Viktor Gyokeres replacing Piero Hincapie, Martin Zubimendi, Martin Odegaard and Gabriel Jesus in the 58th minute – I think he panicked and rushed those changes.
Rather than let Arsenal try to get back into the game with the players they had on the pitch, I think they panicked with the four changes, and it didn’t really pay off, in my opinion.
I think the main thing for Arsenal now is not to panic because I think it’s two points from the last nine.
If you had given Arsenal four points ahead at this stage of the season I’m sure they would have taken it.
But the slight concern only concerns these last few weeks, taking up only these two points out of nine.
So I’m sure Arteta will want to try and get the next win on the table as quickly as possible.
