Redime Team Reunites at Basketball Hall of Fame, Honor Kobe Bryant
The 2008 United States Olympic Basketball team – the Redime team – met and honored the late Kobe Bryant to her awareness in the Basketball Hall of Fame on Saturday.
Carmelo Anthony, Carlos Boozer, Chris Bosh, Dwight Howard, Lebron James, Jason Kidd, Chris Paul, Tayshaun Prince, Michael Redd, Dwyane Wade and Deron Williams, in addition to the coach head Mike Krzyzewski, assistant coach Jim Boheim and Mike D’Antoni and the manager has participated in the lecture of Clagel, with the clangel class. Led by Bryant, the team brought the United States back to the top of global basketball after the American teams took bronze at the 2004 Olympics and the 2006 World Cup.
“(Bryant) was the missing connection we needed to regain the domain with the US Team,” said James while he was sitting next to teammates on a moderate panel by Ahmad Rashad.
The United States, after three defeats at the 2004 Athens games, went 8-0 to Beijing, winning on average 27.9 points per game.
Krzyzewski said that listening to the national anthem played and seeing the flag of the United States raised was the best time of his coaching career.
“Our goal was to win the gold medal, but also to win respect for our country again, and also respect for the world,” said Krzyzewski, who continued to conduct teams unbeaten also in 2012 and 2016.
Anthony and Howard were also introduced as individuals of the 2025 class, together with his companions Olympic gold medals of his Bird, Sylvia Fowles and Maya Moore.
