Reiss Nelson in talks to join Arsenal’s Premier League rivals in £15million transfer

Crystal Palace is in talks to sign Reiss Nelson d’Arsenal for around 15 million pounds sterling, includes Talksport.

Nelson spent the latest campaign on loan in Fulham before undergoing a hamstring injury in December.

The winger has been in the books of the Gunners since he joined the club in 2008.

Now aged 25 and after three loan spells far from the Emirates, he seems to be closer to a permanent outing.

Palace is looking for more attacking reinforcements after sold the Ebelechi Ezeli superstar at Arsenal.

Eze left Selhurst Park in an agreement reaching 67.5 million pounds sterling over the weekend to complete his dream move in his childhood club.

He left Oliver Glasner without his talisman and it seems that he could look at Nelson to help fill a gap.

Palace was also in talks with Bilal El Khanouss from Leicester City, but this agreement has now collapsed.

He leaves Nelson as an option to bring in and seeks to embark on his career after having fought for regular minutes and fell further in the hierarchical order at Arsenal.

The Englishman made 90 appearances for Arsenal – 35 of which were as a starter – warming eight goals and nine assists.

Nelson was no longer regularly ready for Feyenoord and Hoffenheim, with his fate in Germany, he is the most successful.

A loan in Fulham last season seemed promising, but he only succeeded in all competitions in all competitions before taking a blow to the hamstrings, where he then suffered another blow to the hamstrings in February which required surgery.

Who else is interested in the palace?

Villarreal winger Yeremy Pino should undergo a medical at Crystal Palace before a transfer of 21.5 million pounds sterling.

Pino will sign a five -year contract at the club and add a little more creativity to the Eagles after Eze’s departure.

Talksport understands that the Bournemouth winger David Brooks is also on the list of Crystal Palace targets.

The Pays de Wales International Brooks is now in the last year of its contract at Vitality Stadium and its future is in the air.

The cherries have not yet decided to offer him a new agreement or to potentially seek to collect it.

Fulham goes to other targets

Earlier this summer, Fulham would have contacted Arsenal to try to re-sign Nelson, but a decision has never materialized.

And they now give priority to the priority of AC Milan winger, Samuel Chukwueze, and Kevin by Shakhtar Donetsk with regard to things.

Talksport understands that the chalets are in advanced talks to sign Chukwueze Nigerian international in Milan.

It has been on their radar since January and it should cost around 21 million pounds sterling.

Chukwueze has marked eight times in 70 appearances for Italian giants since the club signs in 2023.

If he would join Fulham, he became their second summer signature after the arrival of goalkeeper Benjamin Lecomte.
