Ruben Amorim reveals if Benjamin Sesko will start for Man Utd vs Arsenal | Football
Ruben Amorim has confirmed Benjamin Sesko is ready to start for Manchester United in his Premier League opener to Arsenal.
Slovenia’s international ended its move to Old Trafford last Saturday and became the club’s fourth signing of the summer transfer window.
The 22-year-old arrived in Carrington for training Wednesday but after having any role to play in preparations before the season, there has been doubt if he will be thrown straight into the page this weekend.
While Amorim suggested that he would have liked his striker to have had more time at the training site with his new teammates, he is convinced that he is physically ready to go straight into the team.
“I can see legs a striker in this club for many years,” said Amorim.

“It’s a big component of our league. He’s ready to play, and we’ll see if he starts. ‘
Rasmus Hojlund began during United’s tour before the season in the United States but among the growing uncertainty over his future in the club, the Danish saw his minutes dry up.
The former Atalanta star was an unused replacement in United’s last game before the season against Fiorentina with Mason Mount, which started in a fake nine role.
AC Milan is the latest page linked to a move but Amorim still counts on the striker on his way into the new season.
“He’s another option for tomorrow. We will see and Rasmus is still our player,” said Amorim.
