‘That’s a hater’ – Tottenham fan forced to sit through wild Arsenal Champions League celebrations
Tottenham fan Abbi Summers had the worst place in the house on talkSPORT’s goals for Arsenal’s latest Champions League win.
The Gunners secured a sixth consecutive victory in Europe on Wednesday night, beating Club Brugge 3-0 in Belgium to extend their lead at the top of the table in the league stages of the competition.

Mikel Arteta’s side now have a maximum of 18 points, putting them three points clear of Bayern Munich in the first round standings.
It was a dominant display from Arsenal, who opened the scoring after 25 minutes thanks to a superb solo goal from Noni Madueke.
The £52 million summer signing collected the ball on the right side, before driving upfield and unleashing an unstoppable effort which crashed under the crossbar.
It was Madueke’s second goal since arriving at the Emirates, and certainly a contender’s goal of the season.
A tough watch for Tottenham
Although Gunners fans across the country will have appreciated the memorable strike, few were better placed than die-hard supporter CJ, better known online as ‘Deluded Gooner’.
The Arsenal superfan was part of the panel on Wednesday night’s edition of talkSPORT Goals, in partnership with William Hill, where he joined Sam Ellard and Marcus Speller to react to the goals as they came in.
Avid Tottenham supporter Summers was also in the studio – and she could barely hide her frustration as CJ delighted in Madueke’s first game.
Reacting to the stunning effort, a delighted CJ raved: “YES! Noni Madueke! What a screamer!”
“Noni, stop that – naughty boy! Saka, you’re not playing today, man.
“I need my three points against Wolves (Saturday). Today the substitutes and the B team (are playing). Oh, Noni, fire! Yes!”

Continuing to gush about his team, CJ clapped back and added: “Look at my traveling fans – congratulate them for making the trip too.
“Where are the replays? It’s taking too long to see the screamer.”
At this point, the cameras turned to a furious Summers, who wore a face like thunder and remained silent.
But that didn’t stop CJ continuing to praise Madueke, whose arrival from Chelsea this summer was met with resistance from some sections of the Arsenal support – including a #NOTOMADUEKE petition.
The delighted Gunners fan reflected: “Noni Madueke! I hate being that guy, but if Eden Hazard, (Mohamed) Salah etc did this we’d be talking about it all week.
“It’s like Lionel Messi!” » added the die-hard Gunners fans, who wore huge smiles and started shouting and clapping.

He continued: “And there have been petitions not to sign this guy! Let the manager and the recruitment team sign players.”
“Arsenal fans, shut up and accept these things. Magnificent! (It’s) 0-0, boys. Every time I’m here, my team wins!”
‘Constant’
After his colleague Speller called Madueke’s strike “one of the goals of the season”, Summers could take no more.
Looking unimpressed, she replied, “Stable.” »
Her furious response only further amused CJ, who laughed before closing with her co-star by reminding her that she might just have to support Madueke over the coming months.
He jokingly replied, “Stable? He’s a hater!”
“The country plays from June to July. We are going to need him for the World Cup! He is a player that (Thomas) Tuchel appreciates very, very well.”

The Spurs fan and presenter was in no mood to hear this, and said dryly: “It’s not June yet, it’s December.”
“As you said, you don’t look at the table until (the end of the season). I don’t look at the World Cup until June.”
While co-star Speller reminded Summers that we all need to support England, she continued to protest: “We’re not there yet!”
As Summers went silent, sparking laughter in the studio as Speller joked, “Silence is golden from Abby.”
And things couldn’t have gone much better for Summers after that, as Madueke then scored another goal in the second half, before Gabriel Martinelli scored a fine third in the 56th minute.
