The favorites for Premier League marketing as championships return
Two promoting hopefuls start things on Friday night when Birmingham City hosts Ipswich Town at St Andrew’s, but there will be a number of teams that believe they can reach the promised country this season, if not automatically then via play-offs.
What makes the new term so exciting is that there is not a page that is so obviously better than everyone else likes, says Leeds United was last year, so we can probably expect a wide open race for the best places.
We have looked at the bets to see which clubs are considered the favorites to go up.
Premier League -Marketing of Odds 2025/26:
= 5. Leicester City – 4/1
Post-Jamie Vardy era is here. Leicester City is facing a brave new world without their tricky talisman. Step up, Jordan Ayew …
The foxes have been quiet on the transfer front so far this summer, with only Asmir Begovic coming through the door. They still have lots of experienced heads that can navigate in this division, while Patson Daka, not Ayew, will lead them in friendship from the front. But the lack of signings is a problem, which is probably why they are not considered the favorites for automatic marketing.

Ruud van Nistelrooy has been replaced by Martí Cifuentes, who monitored the 18th and 15th placed targets at QPR in the last two seasons.
= 5. Coventry City – 4/1
Big Frank Lampard and Coventry City are back for another slope of Premier League marketing after falling briefly in the playoffs over the past two years. The former Chelsea midfielder replaced the popular, long -standing manager Mark Robins last season and did well to get them to the fifth.
Sky Blues has trimmed the fat from the squad and brought in three new players, including Kaine Kesler-Hayden from Aston Villa. If they can continue the form they exhibited during Lampard 2024/25, they should definitely be in the mix, although automatically will probably be out of reach again.

4. Sheffield United – 9/4
Last season could not have ended in a more heartbreaking way for Sheffield United and lost the playoffs to Sunderland to a 95-minute target. To make it worse, they earned 92 points in the league, the most ever added by a team without getting marketing. Hillside.
Chris Wilder has left Dugout (again), with Ruben Selles who takes his place. They have lost Kieffer Moore, Vini Souza, Anel Ahmedhodzic and a connection of loan players, and their income has not been the most inspiring (although Aston Villa loaner Louie Barry is one to watch out for). Still, the intestines in a squad that have been there have done so. Can they do it again?
3. Birmingham City – 2/1
It has been a long time since there was some Blue Sky thinking in Birmingham City, but the fan base is willing to believe again after winning League One with an EFL record point of 111.

The new owners, which include former NFL star Tom Brady, are very ambitious and their ultimate goals are the Premier League. Their recruitment really suggests it. The headline signing is the former Celtic favorite Kyogo Furuhashi and costs them a reported £ 10 million from Stade Rennais. They have also taken in light Osayi Samuel on a free transfer, borrowed in Eirin Cashin from Brighton and welcomed back Academy degree Demarai Gray.
The smart money says they will avoid marketing from the championship at the first time by asking, but they will certainly give it right.
2. Southampton – 7/4
Spirits are not high at St Mary’s Stadium after yet another miserable campaign in the Premier League where Southampton earned only 12 points from 38 games. The championship will at least offer some relief because they cannot be as bad this season.

The boring trend for the same team that bounces between the first and second levels means that holy is likely to fight at the top. They have a good mix of youth and experience at this level, while Ben Brereton Diaz knows his way to go on goal.
There is also a new head coach that patrols the side line; The 32-year-old will still have taken his first job in England after impressing Reims and Lins in France.
1. Ipswich Town – 5/4
Are Ipswich Town really the favorites to get up again? Is an immediate return most likely? After all, they have lost their star track after Liam Delap joined Chelsea. They will not yet replace a replacement and their marking registered until this week was a 40-year-old Ashley Young. At the same time, they are facing a battle to hold on to Omari Hutchinson.
Perhaps the most important figure they have adhered to is, however, manager Kieran McKenna. The Irishman Masterminded Back-to-Back campaigns to take them from League One to the Premier League, and you would be a fool to doubt him this time.
In addition, Tractor Boys bought well last summer and acquired Solid Talent who gave them half a chance to stay up but would also set them well in the championship; Like Sammie Szmodics, Jaden Philogene, Dara O’Shea, Chiedozie Ogbene, Jack Clarke and Jacob Greaves have all competed well at this level before. In addition, they have just signed Jens Caje from Napoli.
