The High Scores Playlist: Week 13 Fantasy Basketball Waiver Recaps and Lineup Tips
Welcome to The high score playlistmy weekly column that lets you know who to add to waivers and put in your lineup for the next week of fantasy basketball. You can also check out my standard point and 9-cat league roundup column for more advice if you’re using more traditional formats.

Every championship is different: sometimes a player in the 75% squad gets waivers and it’s a gift. If they fit your body size, go get them. But for this column, we’ll focus on players below 50% of the roster who are widely available and ready to help in Week 13.

🎧 Who’s in my rotation: High score
Cam Spencer – G, Memphis Grizzlies (24% on roster)
Spencer has quietly stepped into a heavily used role for Memphis, which is not only without Ja Morant but is reportedly exploring trade options for him. That leaves Spencer – a surprisingly natural attacking midfielder – as one of the few facilitators left standing. He has dished out 11+ assists in consecutive games, looking like a legitimate double-double threat. Spencer scored a season-high 48 fantasy points in Week 12, a good sign for things to come.
One downside, though: The Grizzlies only play two games this week, so he’s more of a long-term addition than a streamer. But if you have room to stash your stock and want to get ahead of the curve, Spencer’s role is increasing due to Morant’s injury and the trade rumors are far from resolved.

Jake LaRavia – G/FC, Los Angeles Lakers (21% on roster)
The most significant schedule advantage of Week 13 belongs to the Lakers: they are the only team playing five games and there are no double-digit slates this week. That means LaRavia, who averaged 16.2 points, 5.6 rebounds, 1.8 assists and nearly 2 plays in 35 minutes per game this month, will be worth streaming.
Rui Hachimura is returning, although I expect he will be on a minutes restriction and likely to miss at least one game as he recovers from a calf injury.
LaRavia is certainly not a superstar, but thanks to this opportunity he has almost entered the top 100 players in the High Score rankings in the last two weeks.

Egor DemÃn – G, Brooklyn Nets (23% on roster)
Demïn is a rookie guard going in the right direction at the right time. He’s coming off a 39-point fantasy effort in Week 12 and looks much more confident entering 2026. Brooklyn has a great four-game schedule this week with matchups against Dallas, New Orleans and two games against Chicago, all fantasy-friendly.
In January, Demïn averaged 15.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 2 stocks per game. With a growing roster and a soft schedule, Demïn represents a strong option for Week 13. If Noah Clowney was on waivers, I’d add him too.
Ayo Dosunmu – G/FC, Chicago Bulls (26% on roster)
Again, recommending Ayo. He was at 23% on the roster last week, so not much movement on the waivers front. Dosunmu continues to collaborate regularly with Josh Giddey outside. He has scored at least 31 fantasy points in seven straight games, including 52 in Week 12. The Bulls also have a favorable schedule: four games, including two against the Nets and one against the Jazz — all decent matchups in fantasy.
Announcement
Ayo is usually just a scorer, but over the last two weeks he has averaged nearly 6 assists per game. This jump in assists is great for High Score, as they rank 66th over the last 14 days.
Aaron Nesmith – G/FC, Indiana Pacers (32% on roster)
Since Bennedict Mathurin went down, Nesmith has become the Pacers’ third scoring option – and he’s made the most of it. He dropped a season-high 51 fantasy points in Week 11, followed by 33 in Week 12.
Indiana plays four games this week, starting with a revenge game Monday night against the Celtics, the team that drafted him. Given his role and consistent potential for 30+ fantasy points, Nesmith is worth starting all week.
Other Pickups:
Moussa Diabate – FC, Charlotte Hornets (20%)
Isaiah Collier – G, Utah Jazz (15%)
Jeremiah Fears – G, New Orleans Pelicans (21%)
Collin Murray-Boyles – FC, Toronto Raptors (14%)
