The Lakers gave coach JJ Redick an extension of the contract
The Lakers assigned the second year coach JJ Radick an extension of the contract, whose details were not provided when Rob Pelinka, president of the basketball operations and general manager, made the announcement during a press conference on Thursday at the team’s training structure in El Segundo.
Pelinka started the media session saying: “We had an intentional and productive offenseon” noting that the addition of a starting center was an important goal achieved with the signature of Deandre Ayton.

Redick said he met this summer with the former New England Patriots Tom Brady and coach Bill Belichick and the great takeaway quarterback was that the size takes “daily commitment”.

The Lakers, who will have a media day on Monday, open the training field on Tuesday with three days of practice in El Segundo before heading to Palm Springs for their open -natured -upson against the Phoenix Suns on Friday evening at the Acisure Arena of Palm Desert.
