Damian Lillard has been linked to the bay throughout his life, and now he could have a real blow to play for warriors.

According to reports, the native of Oakland was given up on the Milwaukee Bucks in order to lengthen his contract, Tuesday Shams Charania of Espn reported for the first time, and this could open the Warriors door to add the nine times NBA All-Star.

Warriors are one of the many teams who have already contacted Lillard, who will soon be a Libero agent and Marc J. Spears of Papape reported on Tuesday on Espn’s “NBA”.

“Of the many teams who contacted Damian Lillard, the Warriors were one of those teams,” Spears reported on Tuesday.

Lillard, who has just completed his 13th NBA campaign, scored on average 24.9 ppg last season in 58 games played. The flagship guard veteran, who snatched her Achilles during the Bucks playoff race, would be an exciting new addition for Dub Nation, assuming that it can recover quickly from her injury.

“There are some speculations that he (Lillard) may have returned from the All-Star break,” Spears also reported on Tuesday.

The former blazer trail spent 11 seasons in Portland, so he met the warriors.

Golden State has Steph Curry as a starting guard for the next two seasons, but Lillard’s return to the house could bring them closer to another championship.
