And it resulted in a Premier League final table that sees interesting finishes for a number of teams.

The little question of the title is first on the agenda.

Arsenal have led the way since day one and seem to have let Man City come back with poor results in January.

But the Gunners returned to winning ways with a 4-0 win over Leeds while City were held to a 2-2 draw by Spurs.

And the supercomputer is now asking them to stay there until the final day, finishing as Premier League champions by a margin of four.

City will be second ahead of Aston Villa, who will finish third, 13 points behind Arsenal after seeing their title challenge fade away over the winter.

Interestingly, Michael Carrick’s Man Utd are expected to return to the Champions League with a fourth place finish.

But while English sides stand to benefit from an extra place, Chelsea are also set to play in Europe’s top competition with Liam Rosenior guiding the Blues to fifth place.

This means Liverpool will be forced to settle for Europa League football with sixth place.

They will be joined by plucky Brentford, who are backed to exceed all expectations under Keith Andrews and finish seventh.

Meanwhile, another outsider is expected to play in the Conference League, barring Carabao and FA Cup results, with promoted Sunderland returning to finish eighth.

The top half is completed by Everton and Newcastle, followed by Brighton, Fulham and Bournemouth.

Heading into the relegation battle, Crystal Palace and Nottingham Forest will ultimately be safe.

There will also be good news for Tottenham, who return to place 16th and beat the drop zone by just seven points.

Leeds are also expected to survive, finishing just one point behind Spurs.

But it’s bad news for West Ham, who are set to lose despite being six points from safety.

Burnley once again emerges from the Premier League with 23 points.

While woeful Wolves will finish last with 15 points, picking up just three wins all season.
