Eze is directed by Arsenal and their northern London rivals, Tottenham Hotspur this summer.

Both teams play in the UEFA Champions League this season and Eze has informed Crystal Palace that he wants to play in the competition.

Mikel Arteta’s side is still on the market for further attacking reinforcements and has identified Eze, which was quite impressive last season, as a main goal.

Eze scored 14 goals and gave 11 assists from 43 matches over competitions for Crystal Palace last season.

But the 27-year-old has made it clear that he wants to leave Selhurst Park even though he has a contract until 2027.

Walcott told us that it is called Soccer, that it would be the best option for Eze to stay with Eagles to have a chance to play in the FIFA World Cup 2026 with England.

“… if I was Eze, I would probably stay just because it’s the World Cup year. If it wasn’t the World Cup year I would probably move on.

“It would look very different at Arsenal,” he said.

Crystal Palace has no plans to prevent England International from leaving if he so desired as club chairman, Steve Parish recently suggested that they could be open to release him.
