U19s preview: Arsenal v Bayern Munich | Pre-Match Report | News

Our Under-19s continue their UEFA Youth League campaign with a home match against Bayern Munich on Wednesday 26 November at the Mangata Developments Stadium. Kick-off is scheduled for 1pm (UK time).
We will be looking to pick up our first points of our European campaign, having lost our opening four matches against Athletic Club, Olympiacos, Atletico Madrid and Slavia Prague.
The top 22 teams progress from the 36-team league stage, and for us to achieve such a result we will need to beat Bayern on Wednesday and then take all three points in Belgium against Club Brugge in our final match.

THE OPPOSITION
Bayern Munich have also had a difficult European campaign so far, picking up three points from four matches.
The German side were beaten 3-2 by Chelsea in an entertaining opening match, before beating Pafos 3-0 in Cyprus.
Since that victory, Bayern have struggled, losing two consecutive games at home to Club Brugge and away to Paris Saint-Germain.
Both matches ended in a 3-0 defeat for the German side, and in both matches they were reduced to 10 men due to late red cards.
Domestically, however, Bayern soared, winning seven of their nine matches to top their U19 Bundesliga group by three points with a game in hand against second-placed Freiburg.
