I think you have to give all the credit to Bodo, and you could say the Man City bench has some youth, but if you look at that starting team, Pep Guardiola has been strong. Jeremy Doku did not have a match.
It’s not a good time in the season but they have a lot of injuries. Antoine Semenyo and Marc Guehi came to strengthen the system.
They caused themselves some problems tonight by not winning the match because they don’t want to make the play-offs, and now if they don’t beat Galatasaray it could happen. This is not where they want to be, especially with a team as depleted as it has been.
It’s important that they find a win and start building that confidence.
