Watch Lauri Markkanen falling 43 for Finland in Eurobasket win

Last season we did not see many Lauri Markkanen in the Utah, with injuries that cut its season in half.

On Friday at Eurobasket, Britain and all the others recalled, how good it can be – and has shown that it still has a lot of hops.

It was not just that dunk, Markkanen dropped 43 to lead Finland to a group victory.

Finland is now 2-0 in groups, after beating Sweden and Great Britain, with Markkanen it has an average of 35.5 points per game. Jazz fans – and you can be sure that some other staff of the front office around the NBA – have noticed. Next to Finland is Montenegro without victories.

There were some other great NBA men who had some days at Eurobasket.

Alperen Sengun scored 23 points in 8 out of 9 shooting with 12 rebounds and nine assists while his Türkiye team continues to look strong in a victory over the Czech Republic.

Kristaps Porzingis had 26 points and seven rebounds to lift Latvia beyond Estonia for its first EuroBasket 2025 victory.

Nikola Jokic has scored 23 points and 10 rebounds in another victory for Serbia, a team that has so far seemed dominant.
