What drama? Ace Bailey representative says she is “enthusiastic” to play for jazz; Has yet to refer to Utah

Ace Bailey did not work for the Utah Jazz-O for any NBA-IN View of the NBA Draft of 2025 while its agent tried to guide him in the destinations of the Favorite East Coast of Washington DC or Brooklyn. It did not work as expected, and the Utah Jazz selected Bailey with choice n. 5-one team that needed high-end talents in its reconstruction brought the player with the highest available ceiling.

Since then, there has been a minimum contact between Bailey and jazz and unlike the other choice of the first round of the team, Walter Clayton Jr.-deve still refer to Utah, according to what Espn’s Brian Windhorst reported. This brought raised eyebrows and many online speculations.

However, one of the representatives of Bailey, president of the GSE Worldwide Andrew Whitlieb, went to the Front Office Sports show on Friday and launched cold water on all the items, saying that Bailey is “enthusiastic” to play in Utah.

“We think this is a great situation for him, as far as basketball is concerned,” said Whitlieb, observing that Bailey would have many touches and shots with jazz. Whitlieb added that not working for the teams was not a big problem: there was a lot of films on him from the Rutgers season and from the NBA Draft Combine, in which jazz had interviewed him and obtained his medical records. He noticed that the teams that players who have not worked for them are common.

Bailey will be expected to refer to Utah by Monday and will participate in the training field for Utah and then in the Las Vegas summer alloys. There will never have been a real drama until that deadline passed.

Bailey has factions within its representation, which can lead to different messages.

Regardless of the fact that Bailey is happy to be chosen by Utah, he and his representatives have no other option than to present themselves. The jazz holds its draft rights and anyone who thinks threatens to play abroad (jazz would retain its rights) or that not reports will lead to Danny Ainge and the jazz organization to fasten and exchange it has not paid attention: jazz will not give up. Bailey will play for jazz or no one else in the NBA. The only option of Bailey to change the teams would be to sit a whole year of basketball and return to the draft, which would have damaged his pull while spending a year not to be paid. (Utah would have the full support of the League’s Office and other owners in any reckon surrender, they do not want to create a situation in which debutant players can make their way to the destination they want.)

All this appears controversial. The expectation in the circles of the League has always been that Bailey would have been there on Monday, with the full support of his representation (which is not paid unless you start to be paid). There will be no drama and the only question will be if Bailey can play at its potential by working with coach Will Hardy and staff.
