What time is the NBA draft of 2025? Order, main perspectives and more – NBC Sports Philadelphia
The Dallas Mavericks are on the clock.
A new group of young perspectives will enter the championship when the NBA draft of 2025 begins. Dallas won the lottery in May with only 1.8% probability, landing first Dibs at Star Duke Prospect Cooper Flag.
Flagg was the main consensus of the perspective of this class for several years and Dallas obtained the first choice immediately after having exchanged Luka Doncic at the Los Angeles Lakers generated many conflicting reactions.
But unlike the lesson of last year, the pool of talents beyond flag is much more tempting. Flagg is not also the only choice of Duke of Top-Five possible, while Rutgers could see two best choices.
Here’s everything to know while the first round of the draft begins:
Jalen Rose breaks because the Maverick are an ideal landing point for Cooper Flagg.

Who are the best prospects in the 2025 NBA draft?
The main perspective is Duke’s Cooper Flagg, given his chassis, ability and potential. It is a rare mixture of option n. 1 ready, in the round and possible on a contender.
Beyond Flagg, Rutgers has both Dylan Harper and Ace Bailey in the mix. Harper has the potential to be a combined elite guard given its 6 -foot and 10 wing opening, even if its 33% 3 -point shot will have to improve at the next level. Bailey has chops to be a star shot, but will have to improve defensively while there have been some red flags regarding the cancellation of pre-draft training with the teams.
Colleague Duke Prospect Kon Knueppel is a 3 Plug-and-play 3 points shooter. His versatility will allow him to play in multiple positions, with a sweet shot by deep. There are problems of athleticism defensively, so it will be interesting to see how the end manages.
Other possible leading choices include Baylor G Vj Edgecombe, Texas G/F Three Jackson and Illinois G Kasparas Jakucionis.
Outside the first five, the potential thefts include Duke C Khan Maluach, Michigan State G Jase Richardson, Duke G/F Tyrese Proctor, Colorado State G/F Nique Clifford, Michigan C Danny Wolf and St. John’s F Rj Luis Jr., among others.
