18-year-old midfielder Demiane Agustien joined Arsenal over the summer, turning down a new contract with Derby County to move to north London.

Given the player’s age, Arsenal still had to pay an undisclosed transfer fee to complete the transfer, but the expiry of the player’s contract would have at least reduced the amount owed by the Gunners.
Having played for Arsenal for a few months now, Agustien was away with the Netherlands Under-19s during the October break and was included in the starting line-up for a match against France on Tuesday.

France took an early lead, but just before half-time Agustien hit back with an equalizer, his first ever international goal.
The youngster had previously represented the Curacao Under-17s and Netherlands Under-18s on several occasions, but had never appeared on the scoresheet until this week.
