LeBron James Jokes About Meeting Will Anderson Jr. During Game 6 Victory In Houston: ‘He’s My Fourth Child’
On Friday night, during the third quarter of the Los Angeles Lakers’ Game 6 road win against the Houston Rockets, LeBron James fell to the floor after Jabari Smith Jr. blocked him on a fast break.
Despite being robbed of transition points, James was beaming as Houston Texans star defensive end Will Anderson Jr. helped him off the floor.

Aside from his pass-rushing ability, Anderson is now famous for his uncanny resemblance to Bronny James.
LeBron James and Anderson faced off before James returned in what became a 98-78 victory, in which the 22-time All-Star put up 28 points, 8 assists and 7 rebounds.
Here’s another view of the humorous encounter:
“How was the moment?” James said after the game, via Jonathan Alexander of the Houston Chronicle. “The moment was really beautiful. Yes, I just said it was nice to see it.”
Then James said jokingly, “This is my fourth child. Yes, he and Bronny are twins, and no one knows. Savannah and I tried to keep it under wraps for a long time.”

That remark drew laughter from reporters surrounding James’ locker. James, basking in a first-round playoff series victory at age 41 and in his NBA-record 23rd season, smiled as he quickly followed his joke with the obvious clarification.
“But no, no disrespect to his parents – his real parents,” James said, still smiling. “Let me not start.”
The internet went wild with the Bronny James-Will Anderson lookalike meme after Anderson signed his three-year extension that is reportedly worth $150 million and made him the highest-paid new non-quarterback in NFL history.
Once he put pen to paper, the 24-year-old Anderson stepped in front of the camera for a video that the Texans proudly posted on social media. In it, the 2025 first-team All-Pro says he’s “here to have fun and for a long time,” alluding to his new contract in Houston.
That short up-close clip set the stage for a series of side-by-side comparisons with who else but Bronny James.

Now the Texans are involved too.
After dropping Games 4 and 5 and seeing their 3-0 series lead cut to 3-2, the Lakers bounced back in Houston with a Game 6 win.
James rose to the occasion, as he has often done throughout the four-time NBA champion’s career. After the game, he immediately recognized the greatness of another athlete.
“Unbelievable football player,” James said of Anderson. “He deserves everything he gets. It was definitely amazing to see him.”
