The second set started better for the Pole, who broke his opponent right from the start. Then Majchrzak increased his lead even more and Carreno-Busta could start to worry. Especially since, even when he finally managed to make up for the break – then he tied 3:3 – after a while he wasted his serve again. Majchrzak did not let go of this advantage. After almost two hours of play, it was a tie.

Only in the fifth did Carreno-Busta cause him more trouble, fought for a long time and finally won. However, it was only an honorary point. Towards the end of the match, Majchrzak had no more problems and won a certain victory. Finally, the Polish representative won this match 6:7(10), 6:4, 6:1.

In the semi-finals of the tournament in Madrid, Kamil Majchrzak will play against the Slovak Norbert Gombos. The 34-year-old tennis player is ranked 398th in the ATP rankings. The Pole will be the clear favorite in this match.
