Memphis Grizzlies forward Brandon Clarke faces multiple charges after being arrested in Arkansas on Wednesday, April 1.
According to sheriff’s office records, the Cross County Sheriff’s Department charged Clarke at 1:03 pm local time on charges that include fleeing/exceeding the speed limit, trafficking in a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance.

He was also charged with improper passing.
Clarke spent all seven seasons of his career with Memphis, but was not a factor for the team this season. The forward played only two games, averaging 4 points and 3 rebounds.
He has already been ruled out for the season with a right calf strain. Clarke’s current contract with the Grizzlies runs through 2026-27.
The former first-round pick was named to the All-Rookie team in 2020. He began his college career at San Jose State before transferring to Gonzaga.
